On 22 September 2012, the GCM submitted a letter to the governments who are part of the GFMD. This letter was prompted by the very limited funds available for civil society participation in this year’s GFMD Civil Society Days, and strongly encouraged the governments to show their support for civil society as important stake-holders in the process. We hope to receive some positive responses soon, and will communicate those through the ICMC Coordinating Office, one of GCM’s members.
