In December 2016, GCM participated in the People’s Global Action on Migration, Development, and Human Rights in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and subsequently in the Civil Society Days of the Global Forum on Migration and Development.
See the PGA Dhaka Governance Session Background Paper, and GCM members facilitated and/or participated actively on other sessions on borders, xenophobia, and climate change. GCM member, Women in Migration Network also organized gender caucuses during the PGA and CSD.
